Alsager Precision are pleased to announce their ISO/TS16949 certification for a further three years, following successful audits by Intertek. This represents the first re-certification of ISO/TS 16949, since being first audited in April 2013.
Here at Alsager Precision we are always looking to enhance our capabilities and achieve this by considerable investment in the latest technology and equipment. In keeping with this principle the company has recently purchased a 5 axis CNC trunnion from Nikken. After reviewing various manufacturers of this particular equipment Nikken were chosen for their quality and performance and their market leading position in this field.
This new equipment, coupled with our existing CAD CAM experience, laser scanning and measuring arm, now provides the ability to produce pretty much anything that comes our way!
Alsager Precision is delighted to announce that they are now officially an ISO/TS 16949 registered company. After a lot of hard work and commitment the company were extremely proud to be awarded the registration on the 17 April 2013 after a 3 day audit by Intertek. The award now provides the required accreditation to supply quality products through the automotive supply chain.
Traditionally Alsager Precision has supplied prototype and development products to the industry, but the ISO/TS16949 accreditation now allows us to supply parts straight to production, which provides an enormous boost to our future expansion plans.
Alsager Precision is delighted to announce that they have achieved TS16949 stage 1 readiness.
ISO/TS 16949 is a joint initiative developed by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF), in cooperation with the International Standards Organisation (ISO), with the aim of delivering harmonised quality systems within the automotive supply chain, which result in a more focused, consistent and reliable approach to production methods.
Speaking about this important development, General Manager, Graham Ridsdale, commented; “As an important partner to some major players in the automotive industry we are committed to continually improving the way we work and satisfying the changing demands of our customers by the quality of our output. As part of this process, we are moving steadily towards full TS16949 certification, and this latest achievement is a very significant step towards that goal. In this tough economic climate we need to be proactive and manage our quality activities in such a way that it creates increased business, new customers and greater customer satisfaction for our existing customers.”
Our new website is designed to reflect the changes that have been taking place at Alsager Precision and the positive growth being experienced by the company. The site also features our new logo and corporate identity which will gradually be phased in over the next few months on business stationery and signage, a refreshing new look which we feel is more representative of the professional approach we take to all our business activities... and more suited to a dynamic 21st century business!
This new identity has been inspired by the significant changes which have taken place over the last few years, with a number of new customers being welcomed and new technology being introduced throughout the company. The type of work we undertake has also broadened as the demands of our customers have changed, in line with current financial pressures. We take great pride in having successfully adapted our business to meet the demands of this challenging business environment.
We are also moving steadily towards TS16949 accreditation after having our first audit in April. This will enable us to produce more products for the automotive industry and compete in a very exciting and competitive arena.
However, one thing that won’t change is our commitment to our customers and the close and productive working relationships that we develop with them, which have been the foundations of our growth and success.
We took the decision to launch the site early and to start getting our message out there as soon as we could. This means that the news page is still being constructed and we will add to it as soon as it’s complete.
Meanwhile, if you have any queries please feel free to contact us, we look forward to hearing from you.
